Letters to the Editor (LTE)

For any story you choose, let the reapportionment committee also know your opinion: send your letters to the newspapers that cover the districts served by those legislators. Only send letters to newspapers that you read and are familiar with.
Story #1 Attend the last week of Legislator Town Halls and testify
Ask readers to attend the town hall and testify. Let your readers know they can find help on preparing their testimony at the FDGA Testimony Toolkit. Send your letters to newspapers near an upcoming legislator hearing, as listed in the table below. LTE’s should mention the hearing date and location. Then send your letter to newspapers serving the reapportionment committee legislators.
