For this reason, it is essential that the General Assembly avoid secrecy and do the work of redistricting in full view of the public. Yet in the past, this process has largely shut out the public.

Fair Districts Georgia is asking for an open redistricting process in which the public has the opportunity to review the proposed districts before they are set in stone.
